The town of Auxey Duresses is located in the center of the Côte de Beaune, at the crossroads of the production of red wines in the North Volnay, Monthelie and white wines in the South Meursault, Puligny, Chassagne.

The vineyard is oriented South-South/East and its altitude is between 260 and 360m.  The soils are made up of marly limestone - suitable for white wines - and clayey limestone suitable for red wines.

The white Auxey Duresses is vinified in oak barrels like all the great white wines from the Côte d'Or. The aging is also done in barrels for about ten months.

This wine is very clear, golden-green in color, expressing aromas of pippin apple and fresh almond. It will go perfectly well with baked fish, dumplings, charcuterie or creamy poultry as it ages.
