t all began in 1964 when the first plot, Les Evocelles, was purchased. Five hectares planted around Gevrey-Chambertin. Then, the birth certificate of La Vougeraie was dated 1999. The family home was inherited from the lineage of Jean-Claude Boisset. Twenty years later, La Vougeraie was established in the Côte de Beaune and moved closer to Vougeot. First Charles and Nathalie Boisset bought the Clos du Prieuré, then with the first plot of Clos Vougeot, the Musigny, the Bonnes-Mares and the Charmes-Chambertin. Finally, the purchase of the Corton Clos-du-Roi and the Beaune-Grèves marked a step forward. With all these acquisitions, La Vougeraie became a signature estate of Vougeot, notably with its famous monopoly: Vougeot 1er Cru "Le Clos Blanc de Vougeot"
