Domaine Jacques Prieur's mythical story started on February 24th, 1868, with the wedding, in Bligny-les-Beaune, of Claude Duvergey (22 years old) and Marie Taboureau (19 years old).

Since 1868, Domaine Jacques Prieur has created one of the rarest mosaics of terroirs in Burgundy. Today it is probably the only estate owning vineyards on the greatest appellations both of Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. This amazing collection is completed by other prestigious appellations and 3 Clos Monopoles.

Dark and intense ruby red with purple disc.
Nose: Subtle with notes of black fruit (bilberry, black cherry), evolving with aeration into spicy and slightly toasty notes.
Palate: Flavourful and precise with notes of ripe and fresh berries. Dense and refined texture. Silky and digestible tannins on the finish.
