Domaine Jacques Prieur's mythical story started on February 24th, 1868, with the wedding, in Bligny-les-Beaune, of Claude Duvergey (22 years old) and Marie Taboureau (19 years old).
Since 1868, Domaine Jacques Prieur has created one of the rarest mosaics of terroirs in Burgundy. Today it is probably the only estate owning vineyards on the greatest appellations both of Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. This amazing collection is completed by other prestigious appellations and 3 Clos Monopoles.
Very beautiful, dark, ruby-red with intense highlights.
Nose: Pure cherry fruit, tobacco, and dark chocolate going on to reveal floral (violet) notes.
Palate: Concentrated, full-bodied, and rich with black fruit and liquorice nuances. Fresh, ripe, digestible tannin.
