Founded in 1834 on the hill of l'Hermitage, in Tain l'Hermitage, Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné embodies the quintessence of the great wines of the northern Rhône Valley.

Having joined the Frey family in 2006, the historic Maison is now in the hands of the talented and passionate oenologist and winegrower, Caroline Frey.

La Petite Chapelle is the famous second wine of the legendary Hermitage cuvée. Blend of the most beautiful parcels of Hermitage only from young vines, you will find here all the style of the Chapel in a more accessible young approach. This Hermitage has all the breed and complexity of its predecessor, playing the card of flexibility and earlier development.

Dark and still very purplish in color.
The nose evokes all the complexity and grandeur of the great Hermitage terroir. La Petite Chapelle hence its aromatic complexity, depth and potential for aging.
Notes of intense black fruits and spices perfume the glass for a development worthy of the greatest juices. 
The palate with a smooth and frank attack develops on a smooth, dense and straight body. The tannins are still firm for this young cuvée, a sign of certain aging potential.
