The first dry white wine in the history of Château Climens, Asphodèle is, to say the least, part of the singularity of this unclassifiable 1er Cru.

Beyond its genetic character (100% Sémillon, 100% from the estate's terroir), this newborn is atypical and could surprise more than one connoisseur. Vinified in a very natural way and following the principles of biodynamics, this new dry white wine offers a precise reading of this unique terroir, shaped by the conjunction of clayey red sands and limestone. A unique wine, pure and lively, which combines grace and character.

The nose evokes notes of gardenia associated with a minerality that is both powdery and saline, while on the palate, freshness clearly dominates. 

A real kick that evolves into a silky velvet and a slightly peppery finish with a fine bitterness of yellow grapefruit. This wine, elegant and subtle, exudes an energy typical of the Climens terroir.
