It was exactly 1906, the year in which Antonio, the patriarch, was born in Serdiana, in the province of Cagliari. A little more than thirty years later, in 1938 with precision, in what has always been a land of farmers, olive groves and vineyards, Antonio himself created the Argiolas winery. By planting row after row, joining vineyard to vineyard, we started to produce wine, always looking for quality with rigor and method. Then came the sons of Antonio, Franco and Giuseppe, who inherited from their father the passion for vineyards and wine, and they shared it and transmitted it, in turn, first to their wives and then to their own children. Today, the third generation of the Argiolas, Antonio's grandchildren, is already actively working in the cellar. After all, the recipe is simple: season after season, harvest after harvest, generation after generation, tradition is handed down and renewed year after year.

The most famous and the most celebrated, Turriga represents the quintessence of Sardinian Cannonau, while the blend envisages a small amount of other traditional varieties from the island. A red with a unique stature and elegance, finesse, substance and, last but not least, longevity. A real champion that deserves the fame that surrounds it. Vinified in steel and left to age for almost two years in small French oak barrels, Argiolas' Isola dei Nuraghi Rosso IGT “Turriga” is a perfect wine for every great occasion.

Deep ruby red, in the nose it expresses elegant notes of currants, plums, tobacco and leather, and sweet spices. A toasted trace opens up to a palate of immense structure, balanced, fine and persistent, concentrated and warm, with a finish merging into licorice.
