Le Chevalier is located just above Montrachet. The Chardonnays flourish here facing the east at an altitude of almost 300 meters for the highest vines. The characteristic terroir of Chevalier is made up of thin and stony soils for an intense minerality in the juices, sought after in this Grand Cru. Aging on lees for 12 months in oak barrels renewed with 50% new wood.

What incredible power! Rare are the Chardonnays, even from the most beautiful exhibitions, to reveal such a precise definition of Montrachet. There is no doubt, from the first nose, it is Montrachet! 

Croissants with fresh butter, dried fruits with honey, lime blossom, fresh peach. 

The mineral framework which underlies the whole is confirmed when tasting a great balance between depth, smoothness and tension. 

The persistence has few equals, and the aging potential is impressive, allowing at least 20 years. Drink within 6 years at least.
