The AF Gros domain is a farm located in Burgundy, Pommard, which was founded by Anne-Françoise Gros. The creation of the Domaine goes back to 1988. François Parent, a native of Pommard, is the husband of Anne-Françoise.
He has been the winemaker of Domaine's wines since its creation. Its know-how and reputation are recognized worldwide and its wines are a perfect expression of pinot noir, a unique combination of elegance and depth.
A restrained, cool and exceptionally pretty nose reluctantly reveals its aromas of red and dark pinot fruit, violet and distinct earth nuances.
There is fine volume but very good detail too to the attractively textured, dusty, youthfully austere and stony finish where the only nit is a hint of warmth.
