Kistler's goal in crafting Pinot Noirs is to capture the elusive Pinot character expressed in each of their exceptional coastal sites. Striving to produce elegant, harmonious wines that are impressive for their purity, balance, and lingering perfume. From these sites, there is a progression of color and length of character as one moves towards the coast.

Bright ruby. Spicy cherry, dark berry and black cardamom aromas show very good energy and impressive precision.

Chewy bitter cherry and black raspberry flavors are given lift and spine by a tangy minerality that adds back-end cut. Gains power and sweetness on the finish along with dusty tannins, but not at the expense of suave Pinot fruit.
