Doña Paula is a winery that produces Premium wines, established in 1997 in Mendoza, Argentina. They own 100% of the vineyards used for the production of all our wines, planted in the best areas of the country, looking for the most faithful expression of each terroir.

Doña Paula currently has 703 hectares of vineyards located in the best areas of Mendoza. They looked, in each estate, for the ideal climate and soil combination for each variety.

Selección de Bodega Malbec comes from Alluvia vineyard, located in Gualtallary, Uco Valley, at 1,350 meters above the sea level. Is head-pruned vineyard is set on the streambed, its soil contains medium-size alluvial rocks covered with calcium carbonate patinas and intermingled with sand and chalk enamel.

It is one of the poorest soils as regards nutrients, its organic matter is almost 0 and it has a great drainage capacity. The weather is cool during the days and cold during the nights. In Doña Paula they have always worked on our vineyards using sustainable agricultural practices.

Deep violet color. Aromas of berries, with graphite, black cherries and spices notes. Great concentration, firm tannins, fresh acidity and long finish.
There are flowers from the Malbec, and there's nuance and complexity.
The palate is medium-bodied, and there's length and balance.
